Overview

The Necro Rez Rescue Healer is built for one thing: keeping random dungeon groups alive when everything goes sideways. If you've ever queued solo into a veteran dungeon and watched your tank face-pull three packs while the DPS stand in every red circle on the floor, this build is your answer. Templar is your base class for Restoring Light access — Radiant Aura, Extended Ritual, and Combat Prayer form the backbone of your healing. Green Balance from Warden brings Budding Seeds as a burst emergency heal and Braided Tether for sustained group healing. But the real star is Necromancer's Living Death line: Renewing Animation lets you resurrect fallen group members instantly with an ultimate, which is a game-changer when your PUG keeps dying to mechanics. No other healer setup gives you this kind of rescue utility.

Gear Breakdown

Roaring Opportunist on body gives your entire group Major Slayer when you use an ultimate — a massive DPS buff that makes every dungeon faster, even with mediocre damage dealers. Jorvuld's Guidance on jewelry and weapons extends the duration of all your buffs and heals over time, which means less recasting and more breathing room in chaotic fights. The two sets synergize perfectly: pop Aggressive Horn, give everyone Major Slayer and Major Force, and Jorvuld's keeps those buffs running longer than they have any right to. Ozezan the Inferno as your monster set rewards you for stacking HoTs — and this build runs plenty of them between Radiating Regeneration, Braided Tether, and Echoing Vigor. Breton race with Witchmother's Potent Brew and all 64 points in Magicka gives you the sustain to keep casting through extended boss fights without running dry. The Infused chest and Infused jewelry with Magicka Recovery enchants keep your resource game solid.

Skills & Rotation

Your front bar is your primary healing bar. Keep Radiant Aura up at all times — it provides Minor Magickasteal to the group, which helps everyone's sustain. Combat Prayer is your bread-and-butter directed heal that also gives Minor Berserk to whoever it hits. Radiating Regeneration keeps HoTs rolling on the group. Braided Tether is your sustained AoE heal from Green Balance — tether yourself to the group and let it tick. Budding Seeds is your panic button: place it, and when things go bad, pop it for a massive burst heal. Back bar is buffs and utility. Elemental Blockade with the Infused lightning staff and Crushing enchant keeps enemy resistances down. Energy Orb provides healing and a synergy your group can activate for resources. Extended Ritual cleanses and heals in an area. Intensive Mender from Living Death is a strong single-target HoT — throw it on the tank. Echoing Vigor adds another layer of group healing. For ultimates, Aggressive Horn on front bar is your go-to — Major Force plus triggering Roaring Opportunist's Major Slayer. Save Renewing Animation on back bar for when someone dies and you need them back up instantly without the long resurrection cast.

Solo Queue Survival Guide

Healing random groups is a different game than running with a premade. Here's what to expect and how to handle it. When the tank doesn't taunt: stack your HoTs heavy and keep Budding Seeds ready. If a DPS pulls aggro, hit them with Combat Prayer and Intensive Mender immediately. You can't control who the boss hits, but you can make sure whoever it hits doesn't die. When DPS stand in red: this is where Braided Tether and Radiating Regeneration earn their slots. Constant passive healing means people taking avoidable damage still get topped off without you burning through your magicka panic-healing them. Extended Ritual's cleanse also helps clear any debuffs they pick up. When someone dies: don't panic-resurrect mid-fight with the cast bar unless it's safe. Keep healing the survivors, stabilize, and then either hard-rez during a safe window or pop Renewing Animation to get them back instantly. One dead DPS is manageable. A wipe from trying to rez at the wrong time isn't. The golden rule of solo queue healing: keep yourself alive first, then the tank, then everyone else. A dead healer helps nobody. Witchmother's Potent Brew and Breton sustain mean you can heal through extended fights without going dry — pace yourself and trust your HoTs.
