Overview

The Plarden Duo Synergy build is a Warden healer subclassing into Templar's Restoring Light line — built specifically for duo PvP. If you're running with a partner in Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds, or Imperial City and you need a healer that's tanky, effective, and doesn't require a maxed-out account to run, this is it. With 44 points into health, 3 Heavy / 3 Medium / 1 Light armor, and Trial by Fire stacking resistances every time you heal, you're surprisingly hard to kill for a support. The Warden base class gives you access to Animal Companions and Green Balance passives — Green Lotus for healing output, Blue Betty for sustain, and Deceptive Predator for mobility. Restoring Light from the Templar subclass brings Channeled Focus, Extended Ritual, and Honor the Dead — some of the best healing tools in the game. The kicker? This build requires fewer skill points than most traditional setups because you're only pulling from two class trees plus one subclass line.

Gear Breakdown

Trial by Fire on body pieces (chest, hands, waist, legs, feet) gives you stacking resistances every time you heal an ally — in a duo where you're constantly healing your partner, this stays at max stacks permanently. Rallying Cry on jewelry and front bar weapon provides Major Courage to nearby allies when you use an ultimate, giving your duo partner a significant damage boost. Ozezan the Inferno on head and shoulders adds offensive pressure — when you deal damage, Ozezan fires off a flame projectile, giving your duo extra passive damage output that enemies have to respect. The back bar runs Almalexia's Mercy on the sword and shield, which heals you when you block — perfect for those moments when you're under pressure and need to turtle up. Infused jewelry with Magicka Recovery enchantments keeps your sustain healthy, and Absorb Magicka weapon enchants give you even more resource return on both bars.

Skills & Bar Strategy

Your front bar is your active healing and mobility bar. Green Lotus boosts your healing done and gives you a self-heal on light attacks. Honor the Dead is your burst heal — it's cheap and refunds magicka if the target is low health. Radiating Regeneration is your bread-and-butter HoT that keeps both you and your partner topped off. Echoing Vigor adds another strong heal over time. Deceptive Predator gives Major Expedition for repositioning and Minor Evasion — critical in PvP where getting caught out of position means death. Reviving Barrier is your panic button ultimate — pop it when the enemy dumps damage and the shield will keep you both alive. Your back bar is defense, sustain, and utility. Channeled Focus is non-negotiable — the resistances and magicka return are core to surviving. Extended Ritual provides an area cleanse, removing negative effects from you and your partner. Overflowing Altar gives your duo partner a synergy to heal themselves. Blue Betty provides Major Sorcery for spell damage and restores magicka over time. Energy Orb gives your partner a resource synergy and heals along the way. Enchanted Forest as the back bar ultimate is a strong burst heal in an area — use it when your partner is under heavy pressure and you need immediate healing output.

Tips for Duo Play

Communication is everything in a duo. Call out when you're using Reviving Barrier so your partner can play aggressively under the shield. Keep your HoTs rolling before fights start — Green Lotus, Radiating Regeneration, and Echoing Vigor should already be ticking when the engagement begins. Use Channeled Focus proactively, not reactively. When your partner engages, stay within healing range but don't stack directly on top of them — you want to avoid getting caught in the same AOE. Your partner should ideally run a damage-focused build with some self-healing. A stamina DPS Warden, Nightblade, or Dragonknight pairs well — they bring the kill pressure while you keep them alive. If you're in Cyrodiil, have your partner run Caltrops or a snare while you focus on keeping buffs and heals up. The beauty of this build is that it doesn't demand much from your account — you can run this on a relatively fresh character and still be competitive. That makes it perfect for alts, new players, or anyone who wants to get into PvP healing without grinding 400 skill points first.
