Overview

The Iron Throne is a fortress healer — built to survive anything while keeping your group alive. Using Warden as the base class with Nightblade's Siphoning and Arcanist's Soldier of Apocrypha, this build stacks maximum Health (64 points), 5 Heavy armor, and defensive sets to create a healer that simply refuses to die. Argonian race adds resource sustain from potion use and extra healing done.

Why This Subclass Combo?

Siphoning brings Healthy Offering — one of the strongest burst heals in the game — and Soul Siphon as a group healing ultimate. Soldier of Apocrypha contributes Cruxweaver Armor for permanent resistances, Runeguard of Freedom for a cleansing shield, and Gibbering Shelter as an emergency group damage shield ultimate. Together with Warden's Animal Companions (Deceptive Predator for speed and Blue Betty for sustain), every subclass slot serves a purpose.

Gear Strategy

Trial by Fire on body gives you massive resistances when you heal — perfect synergy with a build that's always casting heals. Robes of Transmutation on jewelry and weapons provides Critical Resistance to your group, making everyone harder to burst down. Ozezan the Inferno as your monster set rewards you for stacking heals over time with a defensive proc. The Powered trait on your Resto Staff boosts healing done, while Defending on the Sword and Board gives extra resistances when you turtle up.

Front Bar — Healing

Your front bar is pure healing. Healthy Offering is your burst heal — use it as your panic button when someone spikes. Blessing of Restoration provides sustained group healing with buffs. Radiating Regeneration keeps HoTs rolling on your group. Echoing Vigor adds another strong heal over time. Deceptive Predator gives Major Expedition for repositioning. Soul Siphon on ultimate heals your group while damaging enemies.

Back Bar — Defense & Utility

Swap to back bar when you need to turtle or set up buffs. Overflowing Altar gives your group a sustained healing source they can activate themselves. Runeguard of Freedom provides a damage shield and cleanses negative effects — crucial against poison and disease pressure. Cruxweaver Armor keeps your resistances up permanently. Blue Betty restores magicka and gives Major Sorcery. Energy Orb provides group healing and a synergy for resource restore. Gibbering Shelter is your emergency ultimate — a massive group damage shield.

Playstyle Tips

Keep Cruxweaver Armor and Blue Betty active at all times. Open fights with Overflowing Altar and Energy Orb, then swap to front bar for active healing. Use Healthy Offering for burst emergencies — it costs health but heals for significantly more. Deceptive Predator before repositioning. Save Gibbering Shelter for when your group is getting ulted on — the damage shield can absorb an entire ult dump.
