Overview
The Fearless Tanky Warden Healer is built for duo and small scale PvP where survivability is just as important as healing output. By running all three Warden skill lines — Animal Companions, Green Balance, and Winter's Embrace — this build gets access to the full suite of Warden class passives, giving you a massive pool of health, strong self-heals, and ice armor to stay alive under pressure. With 49 points into health and 5 pieces of heavy armor, you can face-tank damage while keeping your partner topped off.
Gear Breakdown
Almalexia's Mercy is the core healing set, providing powerful burst healing when you or your allies need it most. Trial by Fire covers the body slots, giving you added survivability with bonus resistances and damage mitigation when things get heated. Bloodspawn is the monster set of choice — its ultimate generation proc lets you cycle through Reviving Barrier and Healing Thicket more frequently, which is critical in small scale where every ultimate can turn a fight. Jewelry is all Infused with Magicka Recovery glyphs to keep your resources flowing, while the front bar Restoration Staff runs Powered for extra healing done and the back bar One Hand and Shield uses Defending for added resistances when you swap to your tanky bar.
Skills & Priority
Your front bar is the primary healing bar. Polar Wind is your spammable burst heal that also scales off max health, making it even stronger on this tanky setup. Blessing of Restoration and Radiating Regeneration provide sustained group healing. Blue Betty gives you Major Sorcery and a magicka sustain proc, and Deceptive Predator grants Major Expedition for repositioning. Reviving Barrier is your front bar ultimate — pop it to give your group a massive damage shield. On the back bar, swap to One Hand and Shield for extra tankiness. Green Lotus gives you Major Savagery and heals you on light attacks. Energy Orb provides synergy-based healing for your partner. Living Trellis is a strong heal-over-time with a burst component. Ice Fortress gives Major Resolve and Minor Protection for you and nearby allies. Echoing Vigor is another strong group heal-over-time. Healing Thicket is your emergency ultimate — use it when your group needs massive healing and you need to buy time.
Duo & Small Scale Tips
In duo situations, stay close to your partner so they can benefit from your proximity-based heals like Radiating Regeneration and Ice Fortress. Pre-buff with Blue Betty and Ice Fortress before engaging. When under pressure, swap to your back bar for the extra resistances from One Hand and Shield and use Living Trellis and Echoing Vigor to sustain through burst. Save Reviving Barrier for when you see the enemy popping ultimates — the damage shield can absorb entire combos. In small scale, position yourself between your group and the enemy so you can heal forward while staying protected. Use Deceptive Predator to reposition quickly if you get focused. Do not panic-ult — wait until you see coordinated burst before using Healing Thicket. With Bloodspawn generating ultimate passively, you will have your ults back up quickly.
